A message from Dennis Manley, Purchase Area Association Mission Strategist
As the Purchase Area Associational Mission Strategist supporting the work of our churches is three surrounding counties of western Kentucky, which includes Graves, Marshall, and Calloway, I am humbled as we are striving to meet the needs of those affected by the disastrous tornado last week.
Thank you for your prayers, your love and giving to the communities, our churches and pastors, and so many volunteers that are reaching out in Jesus' name.
Distribution centers have been set up in some of our churches, and disaster relief teams from all over Kentucky and other states are here working around the clock to provide relief. Donations that are coming in are being distributed as needed to those directly affected by the storm.
There are no words to describe the devastation that has occurred and to see daily how God is using this in such a way to draw His people, the communities those all around our nation, and even as far away as countries like Africa in the outpouring of the love of Christ.
Purchase Area Baptist Association churches that were hit directly are Yahweh Baptist Church in Mayfield and East Marshall Baptist Church in Gilbertsville.
Samaritan's Purse is currently accepting requests for the following work:
